  • What should I expect for my first visit to Valiant Fitness?
    During your No Sweat Intro session, you will get a tour of the fitness studio and a one-on-one evaluation with one of our certified personal trainers. You will discuss your health and fitness goals and health history, and will have an opportunity to address any questions or concerns that you may have.
  • Do I need to do an orientation to sign up for classes?
    We recommend that new clients, regardless of prior training or fitness level, begin with a free No Sweat Intro session in order to develop goals for a fitness program that is individualized and tailored to your needs!   • How many times per week do I see a trainer? What can I expect?
    For best results, our members work out 2-3 times per week with a trainer and add aerobic workouts an additional 3-4 times per week. You and your trainer will sit down and come up with a plan that will determine which layout is right for you!.
  • Where or how do I get started?
    Get started by scheduling a free No Sweat Intro session! During this free orientation, we'll review your goals and work with you to make a plan that's right for you.   • Will lifting weights make me bulky?
    We understand that this can be a concern for some people. It takes quite a bit of time and a significant amount of effort to actually bulk up. Our training plans are customized to each individual's needs and will always adapt to the goals of each person. If you find that your body is changing in a way you don't want, we will re-evaluate your training plan.
  • What are your hours?
    Valiant Fitness operates by appointment only. Typically, trainers are available 5:00 am - 8:00 pm Monday-Thursday; 5:00 am - 6:00 pm Friday, 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Saturday. Sunday appointments may be available based on your trainer's availability. You and your trainer will determine the best time for your sessions.
  • What time are classes? Is there a schedule?
    Our gym class schedule is available on the website. Pilates classes are scheduled with groups of clients of similar fitness levels; visit our schedule on TeamUp to sign up for a free demo class.
  • Can I work out any time at the studio?
    If you are a current personal training client, you are allowed use of the cardiovascular equipment during operating hours. This consists of treadmills, ellipticals, rowing machines, Ski Erg, stationary bike, recumbent bike, and air dyne bike. All other equipment is used only under the supervision of your trainer.
  • How much does it cost?
    Rates depend on what type of training or other services you are interested in, how often you come in, and if you purchase single sessions or if you purchase in blocks of multiple sessions. Pricing is available on the website, or feel free to send us a message if you have other questions.
  • Are there any extra dues/fees associated with the studio?
    No. There are no hidden dues or fees at Valiant Fitness. You pay for your training sessions/classes. and that's it!
  • What should I wear while working out?
    Loose fitting clothes and athletic wear. No sandals or street shoes are allowed.
  • Are there showers at the studio?
    Yes, both the men's and women's locker rooms are equipped with a shower and towels that are provided.
